Baby Hendrix | Puyallup Newborn Photography
Meet Hendrix! When this little guy came with his mama to my Sumner studio for his newborn session, I didn’t expect all the AMAZING smiles he gave me! What a happy guy. This is mama’s third little one and she was so kind to share her birth story with us. Read on to find out about his entrance into the world.
We had a scheduled c-section for September 23rd at 8am.
My body had other plans.
I went into labor on Saturday the 19th, and ended going to the hospital that day and being sent home, cause there were no changes in my cervix. Continued having contractions into Sunday every 7-10minutes, I went to the hospital again, still no changes and I was sent home with constant painful contractions every 5-7 minutes apart.
By Monday the 21st, I felt like I was in active labor having consistent contractions 3-5minutes apart. I went to the hospital again still no changes in my cervix. They were about to send me home, I finally told the nurse “I don’t think my cervix is ever going to open!” They gave me morphine and let me stay to be monitored. Finally on Tuesday September 22nd at 3:30am I was told my c-section would start at 5:00am. I was so relieved. After being in labor for 4 days, I was exhausted and ready for my c-section.
Hendrix Dean Bates was born via c-section at 5:55am on September 22, 2015 weighing 8lbs 15oz 21in.
Thank you so much for sharing your story with us!
