One of my favorite things about being a local newborn photographer is when families trust to me to continue capturing their baby’s first year photos. I call these milestone sessions Watch Me Grow. Lily’s family scheduled her cake smash session and 6 month session right after we completed newborn – ensuring they would not miss out on capturing a thing for her first year!

For my cake smash sessions I like to keep the focus on your sweet baby! I don’t overwhelm your little one with elaborate set ups, props, and balloons which can be very distracting. Just your cute baby and a simple little cake is all we need! I am happy to add a whimsical touch with some fresh flowers or a cake topper also, and I have a nice variety of cake stands you can use too. Of course, before we get messy I always do a couple set ups of your baby to capture this stage with regular portraits as well.

My goal is to make the whole experience convenient and easy for you. Even better, I do all the clean up afterwards so you get the leave the mess in the studio!
