Pictures + Paper | March Edition
I am excited to share with you today a few of my paper projects done this past month. There is something so therapeutic about the tactile nature of creating with paper, ribbons, buttons, and embellishments….it is a place where I can trying find my “flow” and get lost for hours. I go through these cycles of creating, where I am overflowing with so many ideas I can’t get them on paper fast enough, and then lower periods where my mind seems to be resting. There is also this fine balance of making time for my hobby. Can you relate? Whatever your hobby may be – I know for me that with a little one under a year, and two children now, it is hard to make time for myself. But it is so important and I am always so glad I do, even if it means eating pizza for dinner one night or popping a movie in for the kids to watch. Speaking of the kids….
Earlier this month I made this layout about my little guy, Sawyer Fox. I just couldn’t resist, especially with all the cute fox bits in the Nature Walk line from Pretty Little Studio.
I also made some time to go back and work with some older Studio Calico kits. My kit storage area is bursting at the seams, and I need to finish off some of these to make it a little more manageable. This layout about my favorite flower, the ranunculus, is made with the Elmwood Park kit mostly.
I also worked on some cards to use for my business. I love incorporating personal hand made touches, especially when they are unexpected 🙂
Thanks for the chance to share my love for pictures+paper with you; join me right here each month for another peek into our life and my creative heart.
I would love to know which project I shared this month is your favorite?
