Pictures + Paper | May Edition
April showers bring May flowers…and May babies apparently too! I have been so busy this past month photographing tons of sweet little brand new babies that not much time was left for paper crafting. I did spend a little time early in the month organizing my supplies (again) – I guess it is kind of a never ending task. When everything is organized, in its place and easy to find I have such an easier time creating. I also picked up a few pieces of gorgeous ribbons by the yard at one of my favorite local independent stores Artco Crafts in Tacoma. I used a pretty hand dyed silk ribbon on this layout below. I never used to be a “trim” kind of girl but I am really enjoying adding more ribbon and trims into my projects.
Here are two more, I also created for Pretty Little Studio. Each month Pretty Little Studio hosts a sketch challenge where you can enter to win a prize, go enter your project for June here. The contest is open to anyone and ends June 30, 2014.
Looks like some of my projects this month took a more introspective approach 🙂 I love so many things about scrapbooking and paper crafting. I can tell stories, shares pictures, and even journal about how I am feeling. It is often said that scrapbooking a cheap form of therapy and I totally agree!
I also have a few more projects to share, but those have to wait until a special blog post later this month. I was so honored to be asked to be a guest designer for one of my favorite companies! You will have to check back right here on June 11th, 2014 to find out who it was for and what I created. Oh Dear, sorry to keep you waiting 😉
Thanks for the chance to share my love for pictures+paper with you; join me right here each month for another peek into our life and my creative heart.
Any guesses to which company I may be guest designing for? Leave your guess in the comments and I just might send out a random prize to someone who guesses right after the answer is revealed.
