With a large variety ranging in all sizes for women, men, baby and children up to 5, I highly recommend taking advantage of the studio wardrobe as a starting point for styling your photo outfits. In most cases you can begin with selecting a couple dresses from the women’s section and then we can simply coordinate a neutral shirt for dad/siblings/etc. I have over a dozen men’s shirts available from S to XXXL, in colors like those pictured here. In general it is best to mix tones and textures but keep the color palette simple or neutral so the focus remains on the subject. The most important thing I can say is that everyone needs to be comfortable and feel good about what they are wearing; clothes should be well fitting and allow you to move around without restriction to get cozy with your family.

For men, I recommend keeping things simple and focusing on soft textures and a neutral palette. Tops like slim fit t-shirts, button top Henley shirts and linen or “camp” style casual button-up shirts in tones like ivory, cream, tan, beige, grey, taupe, brown and charcoal are great, as are denim chambray button-ups.  I recommend avoiding colorful or patterned shirts for dads, as well as formal/dress wear and polo or golf style shirts, or anything with logos/graphics. For pants try tan, caramel, grey chinos or khaki pants or a nice slim fit dark denim.
