When a family chooses me to capture their days-old newborn baby at my Sumner studio, one of the first things we do is session planning. To make it convenient, I have set up a form online with questions to help me get to know each family’s dreams for their unique session. No extra meeting in person has to be scheduled. This is nice when you are pregnant and already have a lot on your plate. The planning form is quite detailed and answers guide me to choose props, hats, headbands, color schemes and poses that will best suit each family, and be in line with my style of work. When choosing your Tacoma newborn photographer it is so important to choose someone whose work speaks to you, pulls at your heartstrings, and who will take the extra time to make your session special. It is such an honor to be trusted to create these photos for your family. I appreciate that trust when a mom to be chooses “We like it all & leave it up to you” for her styling preferences! Vera’s mom also said that she loved classic neutral tones and soft colors for her session. Mom’s favorite color was yellow, which I personally love, so I added just a touch of golden yellow. Mom told me that the thing she was most looking forward to about her session was capturing Miss Vera’s newborn innocence. How sweet is that?! I was very happy to oblige with these beautiful classic images of her brand new baby girl.
