To say I was thrilled when my friend and talented local newborn photographer Jennifer Wilcox asked me to collaborate for a newborn triplet photo shoot would be a total understatement. What an amazing opportunity to photograph these sweet babies and their family who came from Puyallup to my Sumner studio.  There were three photographers for the three little ones, we each were responsible for one set up idea of the brothers, and we were each assigned to one baby for the session.  I always enjoy working with other photographers; we all do things a little different and there is always something to learn from seeing how others work.

This first set up comes from Jennifer.  When we wrapped the babies in the soft material we all noticed how the form took on a distinct heart shape.  I enhanced the shape a little during editing, which is not normally something I do a lot of but this time really called for it. I really LOVE how this turned out.

Next this is my set up – I mean really are you surprised with the vintage/whimsical/colorfulness?? 🙂 I am really happy with how this came out, just like I had envisioned when I was first invited to be part of this epic shoot.  I also managed to round up 3 matching bonnets with less than a week notice, yay!

Finally, this lovely set was the idea of Michelle Glasser, who came all the way from Spokane in Eastern Washington to be part of this shoot.  My favorite part of this image is the way the brother’s hands are all touching.

I would love to photograph triplets again someday, or even twins for that matter.  After doing this I can see I will need lots of extra hands for future sessions.  Are you due with multiples?  I would love to talk with you more about scheduling a newborn session.  Use the contact form above to get in touch with your estimated due date.
