Week 11: Night | Shot of Inspiration
Week 11 already! This week’s theme is night….well a tough one to say the least for a daylight photographer….so I though, how can I make this me? Well in my mind the word night makes me think of dreams, about my dreams past and present, those I have already achieved, will never achieve, and have yet to dream up. I think about all the people’s dream I get to see come true, of the sweet little babies dreaming while I capture the moments. Night time, a time to dream, and my favorite poem about dreaming…may all your nights (and days) be filled with wonderful dreams.
“If you are a dreamer, come in.
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer . . .
If you’re a pretender, come sit by my fire,
For we have some flax golden tales to spin.
Come in!
Come in!”
-Shel Silverstein
And now, for another take on “night”, go visit Amelia Chiew of Canada, for her perspective on this week’s word. Don’t forget you can follow the links at the end of each post to see what all the lovely photographer’s from around the world are doing for this project.
