It is busy season for family portraits. Here is an idea for dressing your family for holiday portraits this fall. I always like to start with a central piece to work around, in this case it is the mom’s necklace. I love all the fun bright colors in the necklace and pulled from that for each family member. Remember things don’t have to be too matchy matchy, as long as you stick to a similar color scheme and tone. Also, since it is getting chilly out, layers are a must. Long sleeve shirts under a sweater, button-up or t-shirt are great. Jackets and puffy vests also are perfect for keeping warm and the layers will add a rich look to your outfits. As always, if you need any assistance on planning what to wear for your family portraits I would be happy to customize a what to wear guide just for you.
